A showing of “Il Generale Della Rovere,” a magnificant Italian movie from 1959 directed by Roberto Rosselini, with actors Vittorio de Sica and Hannes Messemer. The movie won the Lion of Venice and Messemer won the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award. It raises a number of important existential issues and deals with the possibility of Humanist redemption. A moderated discussion will follow.

This event is cosponsored with the Greater Boston Humanists. Free brunch will start at 12:00, and the film will begin at 12:15. Free parking is available at the Littauer Lot.
