February 2: Judith Norsigian

  • Co-founder of Our Bodies Ourselves (OBOS), also known as the Boston Women’s Health Book Collective. She has served as Executive Director of the organization since 2001 and is its primary spokesperson. OBOS has been recognized as a landmark book on women’s health and sexuality for over 40 years.

February 9: VIA Service Event & Darwin Day Celebration

February 16: Meredith Goldstein

  • Advice columnist for The Boston Globe and Boston.com. Her column Love Letters runs daily on Boston.com (about 1 million page views per month) and in The Boston Globe on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. In it, Meredith and her readers offer advice about problems relating to friendship, dating, marriage, divorce, break-ups, and everything in between.

February 23: Sunny Jain

  • Leader, Dhol (Indian drum) player and MC for Red Baraat, pioneering 8-piece world fusion band from Brooklyn whose album “Shruggy Ji” was just named as one of the top 10 Favorite World Music Albums of 2013 by NPR Music. “Favorite Live Shows of 2011” –NPR, All Songs Considered

  • Author, Never Have I Ever: My Life (So Far) Without a Date

March 30: Mike Reiss

  • 4-Time Emmy Award-Winning Former Head Writer, The Simpsons

 April 6: Rebecca Goldstein

  • MacArthur “Genius” Fellow; American Humanist of the Year 2011; author, most recently, of the new book Plato at the Googleplex: Why Philosophy Won’t Go Away (March 2014)

  • Author, An Unquenchable Thirst
