Welcome to the Humanist Community Project Beta.

HCP is a laboratory studying how Humanism can be most effectively practiced in communities, anywhere in the world. We’re based online and in Cambridge, MA, as an initiative of the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard University. We look forward to working with existing secular and Humanist groups, helping provide content, analysis and ultimately guidance for individuals and local organizations looking to build stronger, positive community among Humanists, agnostics, atheists, freethinkers, etc.

During this Beta phase, we invite you to check out our initial posts, give us your feedback and suggestions—including for posts you’d like to contribute– and be sure to sign up for our mailing list, as we’ll soon be rolling out new information, commentary by celebrities and leading thinkers, and more.
